During his time as a mathematics research assistant, Julien Marmur assisted more than 40 students with algebra coursework, with the average student improving their scores by 20 percent. Julien Marmur was responsible for developing lesson plans and providing actionable feedback on students’ applied math skills, proofs, and other areas.

During the summer of 2024, Mr. Marmur took part in a data analyst internship at Starr Insurance. His responsibilities as part of the North American tech property and casualty team involved analyzing profit, loss, and loss ratio trends. He has also worked as a data scientist at the Tel Aviv, Israel-based skincare company MeNow and as an administrative analyst at MM Skincare in New York City.

Mr. Marmur graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. He received distinction for outstanding achievement in mathematics, in addition to dean’s list honors. Apart from his activities as a data analyst, he enjoys playing squash, skiing, and reading.
